This website is run by the team behind the Industrial Drive project. We want to be straight with you about what we collect.
This website is operated by J.Russell & Associates, LLC, not by Rumble or Northern Data. J.Russell & Associates, LLC is the data controller and the data processor for any personal information you submit through this site, which means it decides how that information is used and handles it on your behalf.
What we collect
The only personal information we collect is what you choose to enter on one of our forms. If you sign up for updates, ask a question, or RSVP, we collect the name, email, phone, and city you provide, along with the IP address the submission was sent from.
We do not collect anything from people who simply visit the site. We do not track your browsing, we run no Google Analytics, and we use no advertising or social media pixels. We record an IP address only when you submit a form, never for ordinary visits.
Why we collect it
We use the details you enter to reply to you and to make sure the questions we answer at the public meeting reflect the people of Maysville and the surrounding area. We use the IP address for one purpose only: to estimate the general area (city or region) a submission came from, so we can gauge how much of the interest is local to Maysville. These estimates are approximate, are used only as a rough signal, and are never used to identify anyone personally.
How we use it
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it for paid advertising or to target you on other platforms. We communicate by email only; we do not send text messages.
If you subscribe, our community updates are sent through our email provider, Resend, which handles them on our behalf as our processor and not for its own purposes. These emails include standard open and click tracking, so we can see whether a message was opened and which links were clicked. We use this only to gauge interest and improve our updates. We do not sell or share it. Every email has a working one-click unsubscribe link, we keep a log confirming each unsubscribe is honored, and you can limit open tracking by keeping images turned off in your email app.
Cookies
Because we only collect information when you submit a form, this site does not use tracking cookies and there is no cookie banner. We set no analytics or advertising cookies.
Request deletion of your information
You can ask us to delete the personal information we have collected about you. Email [email protected] and include your name, the email address you used, and your phone number (if you gave one) so we can find your records and remove them. We will let you know when it is done.
