Some simple answers for some complex topics.

Water
Many people hear "data center" and think of a facility that uses large amounts of local water every day to stay cool. That is not the design approach we use, nor what we are proposing for this site.
Our cooling system is designed to reuse water inside a recirculating, closed-loop system, rather than rely on a continuous supply of community water for cooling.
For our normal day-to-day building needs, such as restrooms and sinks, we expect water use comparable to that of a typical household.
On unusually hot days, the system may need extra help releasing heat. In those rare potential cases, our system is designed to use rainwater collected and stored on site for this purpose.
The key takeaway: our cooling system is designed so that routine operation does not draw on the community water system.

Noise
Some facilities are loud because they rely on large fan walls and evaporative cooling towers that create a constant hum. Our closed-loop design does not use those legacy technologies. We also took an extra step and planned to enclose our backup generators, which run only during power outages or occasional maintenance, with added sound barriers.

Electricity
The electrical infrastructure this facility needs already exists. That means no impact on the existing power supply, or on rates, for the community.

Jobs, economic and community impact
Building and running this facility is expected to bring dozens of construction jobs while it is built, and skilled permanent jobs once it is open, along with new local tax revenue that supports Maysville for years to come. We're also committed to being an integral, transparent and active member of the Maysville community.
